Short Ribs              3-4 lbs

 

Tomato Sauce         1 ¾ cup

Salt                          1 ½ tsp

Pepper                     1 tsp

Dried onion flakes   3 Tbsp

Molasses                  4 Tbsp

Vinegar                   4 Tbsp


Trim most of fat from ribs and place in large casserole dish or medium roaster.

Combine all sauce ingredients in a med bowl and mix well.  Pour over ribs.

Bake in 300 degree oven for 4-5 hours.  Remove meat to serving dish, tip pan slightly

And skim off fat before dishing sauce over ribs.  Serves 4.

 

Serve with mashed potatoes and salad/veggies….delicious!!!  


Round Steak           2 lbs

Olive oil                  2 Tbsp

Salt                         1 tsp

Pepper                    1 tsp

 

Cream of Tomato soup          10 oz can

Soup can of water                 10 oz

Chile Sauce                            2 Tbsp

 

Small or cut up potatoes

Small or cut up carrots

Small or cut up onions

 

Cut steak into serving size pieces and brown in oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in casserole or roaster.  Stir soup, water and  chile sauce, and pour over meat. Add veggies, cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 ½ hours until meat and potatoes are tender.  Serves 5-6.
